Traveling to Italy, we found ourselves completely head over heels in love with Rome, where each tiny cobble stone street had these tiny trucks no longer than our arms stretched out- you HAD to stop and take picures with these fun size vehicles that seemed impossible to fit real people in them! Then of course, FOOD. How are people in Italy so thin! The rich culture, tradition, and heritage in Italy, is just primo! We learned the tradition of Aperitivo- essentially the Italian version of Happy Hour but with amazing antipastos (in our case we serve Neapolitan pizzas) and classy cocktails- Combine the Truck and the Pre meal bev and nosh, and you get Apéritivo!

Neapolitan pizza is a type of pizza that originated in Naples, Italy- Not to mention, where PIZZA was born! A true Neapolitan pizza differs from other types of pizzas based on its ingredients and how it is made. The DOUGH of a Neapolitan pizza is made out of type "oo" flour and results in a thin and crispy but light and airy crust. The SAUCE consists of fresh San Marzano tomatoes. Of course, we can't forget the delicious chunks of fresh Mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, and drizzled olive oil.
The trick is cooking the pizza in a wood fire oven- around 900 degrees, allowing for extreme heat to give crust a crispy, yet light and airy taste!- All it takes is 90 seconds, now that's AMORÉ!
